Robert Clark

General Manager

Mr. Robert Clark is a principal and co-founder of CSC. Mr. Clark started his professional career over twenty years ago in the construction industry with a prominent real estate developer. His career exposed him to several aspects of the construction industry, such as, permitting process of big housing development; plan check and implementation, construction inspection, construction management and more.

Mr. Clark started his industrial hygiene career when he joined his brothers' newly formed asbestos inspection company. He immediately implemented his construction experiences to our industry. His tenacity and work ethics propelled CSC to become a respected leader and earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. Two years after the formation of CSC, the principals offered him a partnership position. He is currently CSCs' general manager and oversees the operations of all the offices.

Mr. Clark attended the University of Boise, Boise, Idaho and majored in Geology. He is a Cal-OSHA certified asbestos consultant, a certified lead inspector with the department of health services and a registered contractor, B-license, with the department of consumer affairs.

James B. Clark

President

Mr. James "Brian" Clark is the president and co-founder of Clark Seif Clark, Inc. Brian provides guidance and direction to the firms business development efforts. He was instrumental in the growth of the company as he was tenacious in pursuing new markets throughout California and other States. His vision of building the best company in our industry allowed him to aggressively hire the best the industry has to offer.

Mr. Clark started his career with a small environmental remediation company in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA. His hardworking trait, leadership qualities and outgoing personality earned him the respect of all those who worked with him. Before long, Mr. Clark ran the operations of the company and couple of more. In 1996, Mr. Clark became the President of CSC.

Mr. Clark attended the University of Boise, Idaho, School of Business Administration. He has been in the industrial hygiene and environmental industry for the over twenty years.

Franco Seif, PE, REA, CAC, DHS

Vice President

Mr. Seif is a principal and co-founder of CSC. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a registered environmental assessor with over 20 years of experience in the engineering and environmental field. Mr. Seif is a principal at Clark Seif Clark, Inc. (CSC) an environmental, health and safety, and engineering company based in Chatsworth, California and is President of Targhee. His professional experience covers a wide spectrum of the environmental industry mainly the field of hazardous materials management, indoor air quality and site assessments.

Mr. Seif began his environmental consulting career in 1985 with Camp Dresser and McKee, Boston, MA, a leader in the hazardous waste management industry. His duties, as a junior civil engineer, included surveying, sewer system design, waste management aspect of few environmental impact projects, statistical analysis and more.

Mr. Seif was employed at EPI-Center in Santa Monica from 1987 to 1990. EPI was a leader in indoor air quality investigations and hazardous material management. At that time, AHERA was in full compliance and school districts had to provide the State with asbestos management plans. Mr. Seif produced hundreds of management plans and was intimately involved in project design. In addition, Mr. Seif performed Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.

In 1999, Mr. Seifs research in fungal growth and dry rot and their effect on construction materials was adopted at the California State University Northridge Microbiology Department. Since then, Mr. Seif has conducted countless microbial investigations and remediation plans for many complex structures. He also acted and continue to act as an expert witness on many microbial cases throughout the State of California.

Mr. Seif has been the Director of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Indoor Air Quality Association for the past three years and is a member of the National Advisory Board of the American Indoor Air Quality Council.
